Links in other web pages

Another way that a website is indexed by a search engine, without having to be registered, is to be linked by another or other websites. From that moment, that site will be visible on the Internet.

Based on this statement, it is logical to think that the greater the number of links, the more popular the site will be and, consequently, the more popular the site that links it, the stronger the link will be.

The popularity of a website in the search engines is valued according to the contents as well as the number of sites that link it. Therefore, those companies whose web pages do not have quality content, will hardly be linked by other websites, losing the possibility of reaching an acceptable level of popularity in the search engines and gaining positions in thems.
